#Moolack Shores Motel is your unique ocean-front retreat on the central Oregon coast. Our themed rooms feature stunning ocean views and there is easy beach access. Most rooms have fireplaces and either a kitchenette or full kitchen. We offer clean, comfortable rooms and will go out of our way to make your stay a very special one! Our location on the north end of Newport is just a 5 minute drive to town and about 20 minutes from Lincoln City.

RecommendedWe have been visiting Miilach Shores for 28 years and keecoming back a couple times a year. It is our home away from home.
What was advertised was not what we got in person. Super disappointed in the cleanliness of this place. My kids were looking forward to staying in the bunk beds and unfortunately we had to find another hotel last minute. I’m not sure why this place is 4.5 stars when what I saw was 1 at the most. Especially during these COVID times, you would think the place would be clean. I really don’t know how they could be ok with letting people stay here when it looks like this. I had accidentally booked another hotel for my stay in Newport for the wrong dates. I was scrambling last minute to find a hotel because everywhere else was full. I am so glad I found this hotel! I had an amazing stay. Peggie was amazing and helpful. This will be my go to hotel when I stay in Newport. I highly, highly recommend it!
we had the best 4th of July weekend ever! thank you to the hosts at moolack shores who made us feel so welcome and even were so sweet to my friends and family who visited us. the 4th of July BBQ paid for by the hosts was good food and fun with the hosts and all the guests. the themes rooms, ocean views and easy beach access does not disappoint! definitely will be back! highly recommend! — with Kaylona Rebel and Ashley Erdman.
This is a quaint charming little place with a spectacular view..friendly host and hostess that went out of their way to make our 4th of July weekend special.. They are working hard to make the place better and even comes complete with a special little pup that is my friend forever
The couple running the place are EXTREMELY racist. We did not trust their COVID preparedness and the rooms smelled like chemicals and pot. I will never go back!
My daughter was riding her skateboard up the Oregon Coast to raise $25k for the Oregon Food Bank. We were looking for beach access, but there’s no beach access at Moolack Shores - unless you’re staying there. Or unless you talk to Peggy and George who own the place. And they end up donating $ to Ava and letting her have the run of the place. Great little mid-century place that’s been updated nicely and has a huge wide open beach. Go there. Stay. And have 2 new friends in George and Peggy.
Comfortable and you can be down on the beach in about a minute.
