UPDATE 10/8/25: Once again, Montlake apartments has ceases to blown my mind. I reached out to the property management recently regarding maintenance that was being done on the outside of the building. Because last month all of my windows, screens, and AC unit attachment were pushed in and partially broken. Today I was woken up by two men outside my windows! This is the most poorly managed place I have ever lived and they take advantage of the fact that seattle has no tenant safety laws. Its disgusting. They are horrible people and will rob you. The least helpful staff who just make up their own rules. Inconsiderate, rude, and generally unhelpful.
If I could give Montlake apartments (managed by Northwest Apartments) 0 stars I would. There have been some what of 5 property managers here at Montlake Apts since I moved in (Feb. 2021). As of recent (Nov. 2023) they are penalizing me for breaching my rental agreement (?) for a cat that I informed them of AND filled out paper work for back in January of 2021. Saying I have 10 days to pay a penalty fee or vacate. As it seems, they are holding tenants accountable for the work of their property managers. Additional to that, th... read more
