My Dr. is awesome. I actually really like her. However, the front of the house staff leaves a lot to be desired. They are absolutely awful. They have no compassion and no empathy at all. They are very cold, which borders on just plain rudeness. The front of house staff is very important to the success of a medical practice. The Physicians at Montgomery Pulmonary Consultants may be very capable and caring. It is my understanding they cover three hospitals and try to keep their office up as well. The office staff on the other hand is the absolute worst. My GP faxed over to MPC a referral and test results three times. One of those times I was standing next to the nurse who faxed the info to MPC. I saw the confirmation page of the successful fax, myself. MPC claimed they never got any of these. I went in with a physician's referral in June 2025. I was rudely handled and told I could not get an appointment until December 2025 or January 2026. I then asked if there were other physicians in this area with the same specialty. No was the answer and you can go to Birmingham if you want. The interaction was very off handed and uncaring. The office was cold and no patients were seen in the waiting area. I answered if I had to wait that long to see a doctor I would be dead. The receptionist was unmoved and uncaring.
