We are a small apartment complex comprised of 5 buildings with a community garden, an outdoor barbeque area and a fitness center! The apartments have beautiful hardwood floors, newly remodeled kitchens and balconies in each unit. We are located just a 10 minute walk from the Takoma Park metro station and just a short walk from both downtown Takoma Park AND downtown Silver Spring!

I strongly advise against living in this apartment complex. The building is extremely old, and the noise levels are unbearable—you can hear every movement from your neighbors, making it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. On top of that, the nearby train is a constant disturbance that will affect your daily life. The laundry facilities are a complete disaster. The apartment we have itself is nice for what we're paying, maintenance is fantastic if there's an issue. Management hasn't been as helpful about noise complaints and had my car towed even though they have my information. Edit: Finally got my car back after paying $170. My placard got knocked off my mirror and fell onto my driver's seat. So I can amend this a bit but it's still frustrating they towed me when a peek in the window would spot my permit.
Just moved out after two years here. There are pros and cons, like anywhere else. I had a 2-bedroom, with a yard; kids and dogs. Cons: It's adjacent to the metro line, so if you're not a fan of that noise, it's not for you. Our apartment was right up on the tracks, with bedroom windows facing the trains. With the windows closed, you barely hear the metro/marc, but the freight trains and track repair vehicles are very loud. These pass much less frequently, but are during evening/overnight hours. Don't live here unless you love constant noise and vibration. Upstairs neighbors stomping, downstairs neighbors yelling, having the freight trains going by sometimes every 20 minutes. Not to mention the metro, but at least it's quicker and a bit more quiet. Can't believe they charge nearly $2k for these tiny apartments with such awful noise pollution.
