Best Italian restaurant in nyc
Very good italian food and wine. Atmosphere like a jump in the past, in 1950's, wonderful!
A excellent restaurant with a charming atmosphere
Found this restaurant the second last day of our vacation. Probably one of the best dinners i will ever have in my life. The chef said he has the best osso buco in NYC. After I tasted it I would say he is being modest. Unbelievably good artichoke appetizer.

My favorite Italian restaurant in the world since age 7, I'll be 25 so yeaaa a very long time. I remember they would always give my sister and I free Shirley Temples when we were little mmmmm. I always recommend Monte's, so many great memories there and they make you feel at home <3 in my opinion they deserve 10 stars
My husband and I stumbled upon Monte's in the Fall of 1968 when we had our first NYC adventure together as college freshman. We still remember the red checkered table cloths, the Chianti bottles encased in straw that decorated the tables, the very kind and friendly service, and the wonderful food! We hope to get back one day!! In the meantime, our fond memories of a wonderful lunch at this very quaint neighborhood Italian gem of a restaurant sustain us after all these years!! Glad you are still in business.
