We've stayed in countless hotels, but none better than Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa. The hotel staff has a unique personal touch and consistently went out of their way to make sure that our stay was wonderful. The location, perfectly situated on Cannery Row, is within easy walking distance shops, dining, and Fisherman's Wharf. The rooms are clean and very nice, but not overdone. Would love stay here in the future!
The Monterey Plaza Hotel is by far the best place to stay in Monterey. Great staff and service. It's our second home.
Just checked in and it's amazing!!! Ok so we loved this place so much that we booked an additional night here. The staff is very nice and helpful, the views are breath taking, the spa and gym is perfect! The beds are perfect. The both days we were there I always saw staff making sure the wood was polished and clean. In my compliance world this is exactly how a hotel should be! I recommend spending the extra money to stay here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We've stayed here on special occasions, it has a dear place in our hearts! We got engaged here, spent our wedding night here, spent our first babymoon here!! We love it!
Location, views and facilities were fantastic. The real secret to this wonderful hotel is the staff. Hands down the best staff in the world. I was on a whale watching cruise sending emails to the hotel coordinating flowers to be sent to our room. They were incredibly helpful and easily handled the request. The gentlemen serving as valets were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. From Alex at Schooners to the rest of the helpful staff, the level of service was unmatched. Thank you!
All the staff were great. Schooner's has amazing food. We did the wine pairing dinner and we walked away full and impressed. Even if you don't stay at the hotel, try to eat here one night as a treat. The room with ocean view was AWESOME in the morning and evening. We could see sea otters from our balcony. And the hotel added the fine detail of having a NICE set of binoculars to view the happenings in the bay.
