waited in ER for 3 hours nurses n doctors are useless
I was admitted ,while resting in my room on the 4th floor an employee in house keeping a male entered my room and thought I was asleep placed his hand under my blanket terrified me the staff told me an RN to forget about it even though it happened no one took a report until 12 hours later the hell and torment they put me through is so disturbing it has really traumatized me .this happened 1/7/2017 and today is 1/11/2017

I cannot say enough how fantastic my experience was & still is . The ER nurse , Dot was the best & the sweetest nurse I have ever experienced in my life . She was like an angel sent down from heaven ( my mom ) . She made me feel better automatically by her sweet personality & caring hands !!! She really cares ! I was at the ER on the 1st of January and it was very crowded with patients. However, the nurses and the doctor were making the best of the situation. The nurses were very attentive to my daughter, very, kind and professional. My daughter was transfered to ICU from the ER. Another set of caring nurses. I have no complaints at this moment in time. St.Lukes is dear to me. I was born there and 5 of my 8 children were born there and all of my grandchildren. Overall, I'm grateful to St. Lukes for staying put in the city of Newbur... read more
I arrived in the emergency Wednesday around 6 p.m. the receptionist was very rude told her I was having chest pains and she asked me had I been there before I told her no she gave me a strange look and said well just give me a minute. And when my daughters came to see about me she was also very nasty to them I reported this to one of the other receptionist that said she would talk to her. getting up stairs on the third floor had a nurse and her bedside manners are very rude and disrespectful, it took forever to get simple Ty... read more
