The maintenance men have keys therefore they have access to your apartment. They removed/ stole a gun that was in a dresser drawer. Management doesn't seem concerned about the missing gun & they have not returned my call. This facility has a roach problem. The security is no longer at the front gate. It's concerning and rather dangerous. I wouldn't recommend living here.
It has been a NIGHTMARE. The complex is infested with THREE different species of roach, and German roaches specifically, a roach that is the hardest to get rid of, multiply extremely fast, and are a nightmare. They come in through the walls, sockets, vents, you name it. I was promised by the actual property manager, that she would call Terminex to do a heavy clean out for the concern and for me to remove all items out of home (drawers, cabinets, ect). This is a very nice place to live. In the heart of the Galleria. It's clean and well kept. Garbage valet is on point. The maintenance people are always responsive, professional and friendly. Only one thing.. check the water pressure in ur apartment. cause it was a lil low. Michelle Bolton the Asst Manager is WONDERFUL. She has a great personality and always made me feel welcome. And every Friday they serve lunch.. just come help yourself.
***Edit Update: After about 6 months of residing at Montecito, here's a fair evaluation of the property and management. Property is located in a prime location just minutes away from local eateries within walking distance and offers easy access to major freeways for daily commute. Although the property itself is old, the renovations to the building complex over the years help keep the property well-maintained.
