I've been coming here for a year or so and it is fantastic. Two different mole sauces! The poblano sauce in the shrimp is incredible. They have excellent sopes too. The restaurants in the suburbs arent like this. And it's a BYOB. what could be better? Great food, the adult beverage of your choice (great selection of craft beer next door) and wonderful people working there. If you like Mexican food and you live anywhere near, you gotta stop here. Oh, chilaquiles on the menu!
Just discovered this gem which is practically in my backyard. I was surprised to learn this place has been open for 5 years. The food is fantastic. Had the plate for two, which is a platter with steak, chicken and pork, guacamole black beans and rice. We ate heartily and still took a lot home and the food was amazing.
Mario greeted me, and makes sure everyone feels at home in his restaurant. The tostada I ordered was excellent, and served expeditiously for my quick lunch. Love this place! Convenient to work and metra.
