Our family is really disappointed by Montchanin Builders. At first they took 2 full years to complete our house and when it was completed they only gave us 2 weeks to close and forced us to use their preferred lender, because of that we got highest interest rate. Another reason we hate Montchanin is even though we upgraded our house they used cheap materials for our house, they messed up with the lighting in our kitchen room and within one month of living our kitchen sink started falling off so we contacted them and they tol... read more

New buyers beware!!! Do not move into the house with pending/unresolved issues. They respond poorly to your requests later and sometimes they just don’t care. Punch list is nothing but a joke to them. It’s almost a year since I moved and I’m still struggling here.
Poor quality, cheap material, this builder literally won’t do anything after you settled, they will force you to solved all the builder related issues by yourself with you own money. Still no mailbox installed onsite 5 months after moving in, need to drive 9.4 miles for getting the mails. Extremely low water pressure, hallway bath is like a decoration, because no pressure at all. Stairs was painted in multi-colors, they know all these ongoing issues but never trying to solve any.
Model was beautiful. Hoping to be able to buy in the next 6 months.
