One of the best places to eat well in Montana without pretense. Hits on all notes: food, drink and service. One of my "go to" spots when in Bozeman.
I have been to Montana Ale Works many times. This time was the night before MSU graduation. They were swamped. That didn't matter. The staff did a great job and served customers with a smile. This time around we just had drinks and Calamari. All excellent.

I had the fish tacos with the grilled fish and they were delicious! The portion was plenty big and I enjoyed every bite. My son had a bison burger with added bacon and an egg and he was very happy! Oh and those French fries are worth every calorie :) The service is definitely worth mentioning because everybody from the hostesses to the servers are very friendly and competent!

Good food, love the atmosphere and tunes playing...we were told we would have to wait and ended up staying at the bar...my fave was the pepper parm fries with my wagyu burger ���
