GREAT food and atmosphere. reminds me of some wonderful little spot in Manhattan; Issy is very lucky indeed to have this fabulous little gem tucked away on a side street.
We went there last night for the first time and it was Real Good! Fantastic service and Live music soloist was very pleasant. The owner met with us to check our experience. Dave and Cathy from Covington.

I am from Chicago and have lived in the Seattle area for 30 years. I have Missed good authentic Italian food and the love and passion that true Italians have for the cuisine! From the moment Fernando welcomes you at the door, great service throughout the experience- delicious food...and if Mama is in the kitchen, you are blessed indeed. Her Short ribs were the bomb! Comparable to Chicago- and Tuscany of course!
The food and the service are always spectacular. Everything is home made, down to the pasta! It's always a special treat when we get to come here.
Montalcino is the best restaurant in Seattle! Period.
