Great place to learn glass blowing and how to shape molten glass
I spent a Saturday evening learning how to make glass paper weights and I must say I am so excited that I did. I had no idea how cool and creative this craft could be. Steve allowed me to make multiple paper weights so that I could really get a feel for how things were done. It was hot, but not miserably hot. Steve was great at teaching and showing us the basics of glass working. We had a special request about what we wanted to make and Steve was happy to customize our lesson. Anyone looking to try something new, or looking for a really cool date night, or want to make a one of a kind gift, give it a try. Our pieces turned out really beautiful.
My wife, 13 year old daughter, and myself took a beginning glass class and it was amazing. We were able to make a couple pieces apiece, doing most of the work ourselves, but with Steve right there to help all of our beginner's mistakes. Steve was extremely patient and helpful, and made sure the entire family had a great time.
So. Much. Fun. We did this as a random date night idea and I could not believe how much fun we had. Steve was a joy. He clearly just loves working with glass and his passion is infectious. I couldn't recommend this more.
