Love my new vet! I was very happy with my initial visit with Dr. Gueniat at Monrovia Animal Medical Center. The vet and her staff were professional as well as friendly and compassionate in dealing with my Labrador. He is old and his back is sore so he can be pretty touchy about people messing with him. I needed a new vet since I am new to the Monrovia area and he needed heartworm/flea & tick preventatives. Lack of attention to details Driving to work one morning I saw a stray dog just down the street from Monrovia Animal Medical Center. The dog did not have a collar and looked like she had been living on the streets for a while, so I decided that I would try to adopt it if I could not find the owner. Effective emergency care! I could not praise this veterinary hospital enough. My 10 year-old cat started having trouble urinating while we were on vacation so I called for an emergency appointment and they worked us right in. Dr. Gueniat found that it was a urinary tract infection which I know is very dangerous and can quickly lead to kidney problems in cats. Buffy was given the proper medications on the spot and started getting better within hours. In a couple of days she was back to normal. I am very grateful.
My Trusted Vet for 6 years I have been a client of Dr. "G" at Monrovia Animal Medical Center for a long time and have always gotten good service at a reasonable price. I have 3 cats and I depend on Dr. "G" to give them the best care available at a price I can afford. I recommend her whenever I get the chance. Dr. "G" is my trusted vet.
Best choice as a vet. We adopted our first dog and went to Dr. Gueniat for our initial vet visit. I decided that day to make her our vet. She was kind yet in control of our untrained dog. She taught me how to train him, care for him and be the best owner for our dog. Knowing nothing about raising a dog, I left with confidence, knowledge and a deeper love for our new adventure. Avid animal Lover An avid animal lover for sure – I now have 1 dog, two cats and 3 guinea pigs. Compassionate and professional vet. Excellent. My cats Captain and Skipper have been taken care of by Dr. Gueniat for about three years. Dr. Gueniat and her staff are very compassionate and professional. I have always been happy with the service and could not ask for a better vet. So I took my new rescue kitten straight to Dr. Gueniat who gave her a thorough exam and saw to her vaccinations.
