DO NOT RENT I rented a ground level studio apartment next to the stairwell sight unseen because the property managers KNOW HOW TO SELL and they don't care if it's true or not. I was sold on 24/7 monitoring, a quiet place to live and a vibrant community. You get none of that. In four months I had four packages and a bike stolen out of a monitored secured parking lot? DO NOT RENT I rented a studio apartment from them for this last Summer. It was small, dank, and musty with ZERO ventilation. The heat was unbearable this summer, as there was no airflow or air conditioning. I started experiences heat flashes when I have never before had such a health problem. The apartment management is the worst management I have ever had to deal with, they never answer their phone even on work hours, forcing me to spend the night at another place when I lost my fab. Beautiful New Building The Monroe is a fantastic building. The staff are just wonderful, quite hospitable. I love the tenants, the beautiful units, the fact that it is within walking distance to great food and New Seasons Market. So close to the waterfront, I walk there at least twice a week. I would not think of living anywhere else in all of Multnomah County.
