After bringing my 13 year old lab for annual checkup, I'm annoyed on how everything's is about money!!! Right off the bat they want to do blood for heartworm, I told the girl that we don't ever stop the heart guard so why do we need it, she said let me check with with the doctor. The girl comes back and says it's recommended but not mandatory, I said OK. So when I check out I try to purchase the Heart Guard they told me I can't because I didn't do the heartworm test. We here at Reenies Rabbit Rescue simply couldn't do what we do without the help of Monroe Animal Hospital. They always get back to us when we have an emergency rabbit call––they have never not been there for us. At least 100 of our bunnies have been seen by the doctors here. Love this place. They take such good care of my dog.
Wonderful place to bring my dogs! I had to make a last minute appointment for my dog after she injured her leg, they were understanding with timing and the financial situation when other vets turned me down. I can not express how much I appreciate everything they did! The entire staff was great!! After having this experience, I've already transferred my other dog to this vet and plan to continue using them!
Dr. Barker is amazing. I don't even think amazing cuts it - her experience and knowledge with exotic animals, especially rabbits, is far beyond most I have encountered. Dr. Barker treated my rabbit, Lola, for the two years that I was fortunate enough to have her. She was always conscientious, precise, and careful with her care. She spayed her, performed numerous sedated dental filings, and overall routine care with the utmost skill.
