I had an appointment and the car didn’t get looked at until five hours later just to be told it’s too “rusted” to lift. Long story short, I ordered the parts and fixed it myself for a fraction of the cost. Auto shops like this are why I have reluctantly become an at home mechanic and also why people find their own personal mechanic, like myself.

I brought my car to Monroe after my car became extremely loud and felt unsteady. I asked them to look for any issues my car might have. They had my car for multiple days and after contacting them, they reported that there was no noise and nothing was wrong with my car. I picked it up and the noise was still extremely loud. Another shop found 2 wheel bearings that needed to be replaced along with other issues causing the noise.

I brought my car in on 9/20/25 at 10:00 a.m. to the 774 Rubber Ave, Naugatuck location after explaining the issue in advance and being assured it could be handled. After a quick look, I was told it was a “simple fix,” charged $132.93, and promised that if the issue came back, I could return at no extra cost.
