They are between managers these past few weeks. A month ago, I had an emission test scheduled. I showed up to the place being closed with a handwritten sign stating "due to staffing." They still do not have an inspection tech, but working to get someone certified. Later, I went to the Allentown Lehigh St. location with 2 cars with no issue. Very respectable mechanics, and everything done right
Called ahead and asked if they were able to plug a tire and was told yes. Got there and the sunglasses-wearing desk clerk immediately started loudly complaining at me about “this scummy thing Monro does” by outsource inbound appointment inquiries and then not putting appointments on their calendar. Agreed, not good for your office’s productivity, but there’s absolutely no reason to immediately raise your voice to a stranger about your problems with your employer. I would leave less than one star if I could. Don't make an online reservation unless you want to rely on it, drive to the store, and then find out that they have no idea how to honor their online reservations. Last Friday, I made a reservation, went to the store expecting an oil change and inspection (fairly standard in the world of vehicle maintenance, right?) only to be told they "can't fit it in."
