the food is GREAT! But when the dining room is open the owner makes you feel very welcomed! Oh and the old school music playing is the icing on the cake

This was part of the order I received from Monk's 9/3/2020. My husband and son wanted to try this place out for the first time. Their food was fine. My cheesesteak was drenched in oil, soggy bun from the inside out. I was told it was the "brine from the mushrooms" which I did not have on my sandwich. And brine is liquid, not oil, if that were even true. The mozzarella sticks were very salty (that pic came out blurry, but you can see the salt still). The onion rings were old (stale and cold).
