I am grateful to have found Dr. Avedian to help me navigate a tough time in my life in 2014, and her door has been open to me on an as-needed basis in the years since (most recently to navigate the many emotions and decisions COVID has stirred up). Dr. Avedian's nurturing yet practical style of therapy is a great fit for me, as I appreciate gentle encouragement along with a solid push in the right direction. I hope you'll check her out.
I had several sessions with Dr. Avedian from 2018 to 2019. From the beginning, it was clear her priorities were not to really help me. All of my issues I tried to discuss with her were quickly glossed over and dismissed. I often felt like she did not even listen to what I said, as I found myself repeating myself often in different sessions just to remind her.
