RecommendedFirst visit to their new locale - easy access from either direction off Kuhio Highway. I'd forgotten how amazing their fish tacos are. Only downside parking stalls are too narrow especially with the number of "challenged" parkers with huge cars there are on the island.
Best Mexican food on the island! We loved the nachos with carne asada and the verde enchiladas!
We had the garlic shrimp quesadillas and shrimp tacos. Both were very tasty!
We went to the new Monicos location, food great as usual. Much newer and larger area, MUY BONITA!! Still the best fish tacos and papa had his fajitas!! Always bring our friends here. Best food and price compared to food , it’s by far the BEST deal on the island!! Thanks Monico!!
I judge a Mexican restaurant by their carnitas. Monico’s carnitas is some of the best I’ve ever had! It’s so good, I usually order the carnitas plate and very rarely venture to some other dish on the menu. Yes, it’s that good!
