She began treating my 7 y/o son born with Cerebral Palsy (his stroke occurred in-utero) who developed a complex seizure disorder. For the next 5 years, we had many appointments with her. As his seizures worsened, she would adjust med dosages but her advice and treatment recommendations were inconsistent with each visit. His seizures were occurring several times/day and he had to be taken out of school. Her treatment plan was archaic, ineffective, and inappropriate. She never ordered new testing or scans other than bloodwork.... read more
Dr Chacon had treated my son for 4 years. He was born with Cerebral Palsy (due to a stroke in Utero) and developed epilepsy as he got older. We brought him in at least 1/month on average starting at 6 y/o. Our previous neuro was Dr Raja, a respected well known Peds neurologist who closed his practice. There are few Peds neurologists in the Las Vegas area so were stuck with Chacon. My son’s seizures quickly progressed to 3-6 seizures/day. At every appointment, she never remembered our names or my son’s history and we both tho... read more
Only one visit but she’s one of two doctors who actually listened to us and saw our videos of my kid. So so nice and listens to concerned parents
Extremely unprofessional, and narcissistic combined with complete and total apathy for her patient. She only saw my daughter once, apparently didn't read the information we provided or worse knew, and acted the way she did anyway. Our daughter suffers from some sort of audible and sensory issue and nose bleeds, we took her to an audiologist and they requested we see a neuro doc. My daughter's younger sister committed suicide just 7 short months ago, and so she has been coping by holding onto a stuffed animal. This lady walke... read more
First time and love the experience with my daughter
Doctors appointment was in and out very clean office
Dr. Chacon is a really caring doctor. She listens to our concerns and works with us to provide proper care that fit my son’s needs and our family’s as a whole. She also cares at finding the right dosage for our son instead of just pushing meds on him. She is always available to answer our questions and if we need to, we can call and be seen in the same week.
Office staff are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Chacon.
The office was clean and inviting. She answered some questions but, didn’t feel like she listened well. I didn’t walk away feeling like I was listened too. We were there on a pediatrician referral and had concerns. Introducing yourself is a first step to that.
