I'm glad we came here before they close the doors after 55+years! A gentleman by the name of Patrick I believe stopped at our table and was very friendly. He was very knowledgeable regarding the history of the restaurant and the recipes! The food is to die for - seriously I had to make a choice which was hard to continue eating my meal because I didn't want to stop enjoying my food or save half for another meal. As always our dinner was fabulous and service was amazing didn't have to rush as we love to linger and talk. The appetizer's were amazing especially the shrimp
I love Monastero's! My friend took me there 10 years ago and it's been a favorite since. The food is yummy especially the Tuscan salmon. I totally enjoy it every time I go!
I had a tremendous birthday celebration here for #44! Seated in the center of the room around a large round table appetizers began with bruscetta and ginger ale. Ragtime tunes played at allegro/presto tempo dazzle the ear while the entree of ciaoppini (seafood over linguine) do the same to my palate. Dessert were slivers of pie and vanilla ice cream over sherbet. A wonderful time had by all. I felt welcomed by the most gracious, � class people.
