Delicious pastries- both sweet and savory types. Clean, amd comfortable. Staff is polite. Drinks are flavorful and a good variety. Free WiFi. What more could you want?!
This is a very mixed review. The chocolate croissant I had was beyond amazing... it, if I had eaten it fresh, it would have been incomparable. BUT... alas, I ate it hours later (and to reiterate, it was AMAZING). The reason I didn't enjoy it immediately was that I felt rushed in my selection, and felt poorly treated by the very brisque employee working the counter. I lived in Tucson for 15 years and I miss this bakery so much since I moved away. I'm hoping to have an opportunity to come back for a visit in the next few months and Mona's is at the top of my list for a stop on my way from the airport to condo! Amazing cinnamon rolls and pastries, and all of their bread is great! But for a special treat, try to catch them on a day when they have rye bread available.
