I just had a large vein procedure done in another city after care in the Monahan Pain Clinic, which I believe is called an ablation. the first thing the surgeon did for the big vein on my lower right leg was give me pain relief first. I was so grateful for that help which this clinic did not consider. I was surprised that I had NOT gotten this kind of help from the Monahan Vein Clinic for the same procedure. Absolutely saved me when my PCP could do nothing to help with a busted open spider vein. Felicity got me in the next day and Dr. Phoenix could not have been more kind or helpful. Would recommend to anyone!
I've never been as impressed with any other surgeon I've encountered as I was with Dr. Phoenix. At my initial appointment, he explained my diagnosis and proposed treatment so clearly, I felt 100% comfortable proceeding. At my second appointment, he asked if I wanted him to talk me through the surgery or would I prefer to close my eyes, listen to music and shut out the world.
