Tucked away in a residential area of the French Quarter is this jumping trattoria. The walls are covered with every type of Mona Lisa picture imaginable. The Mardi Gras Pasta is a tangy blend of shrimp and sausage in a red sauce atop linguini. The Spinach Lasagna is also a great choice at the same low price. Start off with a salad and melt-in- your-mouth garlic bread (its free, but you have to ask for it).

The best pizza in the French Quarter! You'll try the rest, but you'll come back to this restaurant.
Very quaint – The service was wonderful as was the food. Very hole in the wall and secluded. Great for a romantic evening.
My Favorite Restaurant. – I love Mona Lisa's. I always have to eat here when I'm in the quarter. My best friend and I always get a Mediterranean salad (you HAVE to try the feta dressing) and a pizza to share. It's perfect. The best little "hole in the wall" place ever!
Awesome Food – We ate here on our honeymoon and it was romantic, very quaint, well priced, and Awesome FOOD! The calzones are out of this world! I had to go back the next day and eat there again. My husband and I have designated this as our restaurant when we go back to Nawlins! Love it there! Robin and John Mobile, AL
One of My favorite places in the Quarter – I just love Mona Lisa's. The food is always good, the service always prompt and friendly, and I find Fatma absolutely charming and adorable!! I have been there about 30 times in the past 2 years and will be back again.
Mona Lisa Junkie – We are spoiled! We love the casual, laid back feel at Mona Lisa's. The food is excellent.....try the feta dressing on your salad or a pizza just the way you like it. Funky atmosphere, it's what you might call a dive, but there are fun interpetations of the Mona Lisa hanging on the walls......don't go to New Orleans without visiting Mona Lisa's.
Mona Lisa – You have to bring your own liquor, but it's no big deal since it's cheaper that way! ANyway, the pizza makes up for having to bring your own goods!
Best pizza - period – We've been here twice - love that pizza! This is the only restaurant we came back to on our second visit to the city. Our fav is the mediterranean pizza - great. Pass on the tomato olive salad: it's not what you think. I expected feta, black olives, a greek salad. I got iceberg lettuce & green olives. Oh well. Skip the red zinfindel - have the chianti instead.
Best Caesar Salad . . . Ever! – This restaurant is funky, small, and the service is excellent. I've been twice and their caesar salad is to die for and both their pastas and pizzas are very good. It's in a more residential section of the quarter, and the fact that locals frequent this eatery should tell you a lot about it.
