Like everyone else, extremely disappointed in the ridiculous price increase of the buffet and the sharp decline in the quality of food and the atmosphere in general. Also SLOW service....Been coming here for years, no more☹
This used to be my favorite place up here to eat. My husband loves sea food but I don't so it was perfect because I could get steak while he had the Buffet, however since the policy change I don't see us coming here very much if at all. The new policy ( if you want the buffet everyone in your party has to get the buffet and sit on one side of the restaurant and if you want regular menu everyone in your party has to get the menu and sit on the other side of the restaurant) has really bothered me. Very over priced, was never told the New Year's Eve buffet was $60 a person until we got out bill. Both me and my girlfriend got food poisoning from the prime rib that was not cooked thoroughly.. will not return to this restaurant again. I've had better service at McDonald's
Beautiful place - seafood Buffet was plenty with wonderful ribs , delicious kielbasa with kraut , creamy clam chowder and of course the amazing large crab legs and huge shrimp did not disappoint! Ended with a scrumptious bananas foster! - a bit pricey but this was the New Year’s Eve buffet - we will start saving up now for next years event!
Food was ok. Hosts are rude. Tremendous hassle trying to get seated with a group of 11. Got there at 4,to avoid the great difficulty getting a large group seated. It still was difficult. There is a level of arrogance that cares less about their customers. My family has patronized Mon Ami since the mid 70s. Enjoyed the Nate years. We had our rehearsal dinner there in 84. The current owners have ruined the reputation and legacy of what was a family friendly place. Go over to Rosies1812 on Sand Road.
My daughter got married here back in July. Everything was beautiful. My only problem is that they owe us money back and haven't received it yet. It has been over 4 months with me making numerous phone calls trying to get our money back and all I keep getting is excuses. I am so tired of this! I recommend never pay all of your money up front for an event there, because if they owe you money back you may never see it. I will keep you informed when or if I receive my money.
The food was magnificent & I would recommend it to anyone who likes great food. Our waitress was fantastic also!
