Momo is a NO NO! – A place really has to be bad for me to write a review, and well I'm writing a review. I wish I could say that the drinks and atmosphere make up for the awful service and forgettable food but I can't. If the prospect for a long wait to get served and poor food options doesn't keep you away then the fact that this "bar" only has two beer options and two wine options should send you running (the other way of course).
Bad Food Bad Service – We were excited to check out this funky new place, but it went downhill fast. We sat for over 15 minutes before anyone noticed us in an uncrowded room. They were out of basic ingredients. They were out of napkins. We had to beg for water. We had to beg for a second beer (while the waitress giggled with friends at the next table). MoMo needs Mo' lessons in food prep – I went with a friend to MoMo with high expectations, and was utterly disappointed. At 8 pm on Friday, they were "out of apples" for one of only 3 appetizers on the menu. The spaghetti was straight from a jar, and was MICROWAVED. The chicken sandwich was undercooked and fatty. In addition, the scale of the place was discombobulated - the colors and lighting did not work with the floor and furniture. You couldn't drag me back there again.
Hooray for MomO's – You have to check this place out on Tuesday night so you can meet pippa the nicest bartender ever...she never forgets a face or a drink. For good fun and great service check out bar Maximo.
