Chef/owner Antonio MoMo grew up in Italy, where his mother was a noted cooking authority.Momo's Italian Specialties is plain on the outside, but brightly decorated inside with potted plants and lighted aquariums. You can always bring your own beer or drinks. Authentic Italian dishes include Mozzarella Campagnola (shredded radicchio and melted cheese in peppery balsamic vinegar dressing), pizzas and pastas. Vegetarian selections are available too.

I really wanted to like this place, but everything was bland. The chicken with the pesto pasta had a fowl after taste. The vodka sauce was so bland and lacked acidity. The ratio of cream to tomato sauce was completely off. The house salad was too salty, it needed a hit of some sweetness (dates, candied pecans, or maple syrup). Your experience might be better. Unfortunately, ours wasn't.
I definitely want to try this place again. The first time I went I ordered everything that was on the seasonal menu. I love that they have a seasonal menu and specials because it mixes it up a bit. The atmosphere is lovely and I look forward to sitting outside on the patio when it gets cooler. The cocktails were creative and balanced and the wine list is Italian inspired as well! Crazy good. Absolutely one of the best and most authentic Italian food spots in town. Fresh made past to die for and a wonderful, friendly atmosphere.
The food was a little too undercooked.
