I've visited many car shops in the area and this is my favorite for a variety of reasons. Don't let the name fool you, they fix much more than just transmissions!

We were recently stranded in the Quad Cities needing transmission repair... the week of Thanksgiving!! These guys not only got us on our way prior to Thanksgiving which deserves the utmost respect all on it's own - The day we had to turn in our rental car the owner gave us a lift to the mall so we could be warm, get some lunch and wait with some type of comfort. Good people are hard to find these days and there's a bunch of them here under one roof! First class operation.
A week and a half ago I got a call from the wife that the transmission in our Enclave was "acting funny" and that the check engine light came on. Well, long story short, the transmission was bad and needed replaced. I instantly thought of Moline Transmission because I've heard NOTHING but good about them. I don't get cars towed everyday so I asked if they recommended one and (I believe her name was Suzie or Susan) offered to call the tow service.
