I recently took my camera in Moler's Camera here in Wichita to have my camera repaired. What started as a week process turned into 2 months worth. Many phone calls and not returned calls to be told that they had LOST my camera or SOLD it!!! They decided to help me out by getting me a refurbished camera or a downgraded camera from what I had.I have never been so disrespected by a store manager or a store owner.
So very helpful even to an inexperienced hobbyist photographer like me.
They fixed my camera super fast and were incredibly generous. Sam and DA are amazing. :)
Moler's Camera has been my camera and acoutrements store for 30+ years. It never disappoints. It they don't have what you need, they'll order it. And sell you something you didn't know you needed. Knowledgable staff. Funky antiques. Great location. Curbside parking.
Best camera shop in Wichita...hands down. I shop here all the time for my pro equipment. High quality and great customer service!
They went out of their way to find the camera I was looking for. The staff is incredibly knowledgable and helpful. Whether you shoot digital or film they always have plenty of drool inducing items for sale.
Business response:
Thanks for the review, and glad we could help!
Purchased a Sigma 170-500mm lens to pair with a new Canon T5 rebel. Immediately, began having issues with lens. Brought it back to Moler and they kept it a while but, claimed it was a mystery? Suggested to check if firmware was up to date (which it was). Finally, called Sigma myself and learned the lens was made prior to 2001 and meant for EOS film not Digital (Had not been re-chipped). Took it back to Moler to return and get money back. But, this time got a different employee. Said he knew all along that was the problem. Ha... read more
Business response:
I do of course want to apologize again for the trouble. In discussing things with the salesperson you had been working with it has come to light that evidently he was not aware of the necessity for re-chipping these lenses and the impossibility of doing so. So I apologize 1) for wasting your time, 2) for not having better training for our sales staff, and 3) for ever having the lens in the store in the first place. Rest assured we will not be taking any of these older lenses in on trade in the future. I do thank you for your... read more
