I normally love moka and everything they have to offer including great staff. Today I ordered an ube iced latte (get this often) and there was almost no ube syrup. It literally taste like a regular iced latte which is really disappointing. Sad to leave a review like this since I’m typically happy leaving here.
The plant milk upcharge is disappointing. Lactose “intolerance” is incredibly common, especially among people of color, so charging extra for a non-dairy option feels exclusionary and racist. It would be nice to have at least one plant-based milk available at the same price as the dairy “milk”. I will not be returning to this place and I will choose Colectivo instead, they don’t charge more for plant milk
