Prices too high for a high school student – I'm a student at STHS, which is literally right across the street. And along with other students, I sometimes go there after school. Now most of you know...students are usually broke. Or don't have a lot of money. In my opinion, if you want to open a restraunt next to a school, the prices better be in the range that a student could afford. All we could get is a cheeseburger or two, because they are 99 cents each, but a meal is about $7. The food is pretty good quality, the regular che... read more

Average. – Items reviewed: Double mojoburger with cheese, onion rings, french fries. Being on a quest for the ultimate hamburger, I just had to check this citysearch winner out. Unfortunately, Mojo burger does not make it to the top of my own list. I found that the hamburgers, with all the fixings, taste just like burger king's own Whopper. While the burgers were large and quite juicy, they don't stand out. The fries also seem off. While they look fresh, they taste like fast-food style frozen. So if you're a big fan of the w... read more

Local hangout offers a Hawaiian-flavored alternative to the usual burger deal. – In Short Different from usual fast-food establishments, this local favorite serves its burgers in a bright, casual setting. Kitschy decor--including bamboo accents, '30s Hawaiian art and a vibrant, yellow surfboard--and the staff's bold Hawaiian shirts distinguish Mojo's from the mainstream. Try the regular cheeseburger or the pineapple Mojo Burger. The menu also features sandwiches, salads, and sides, including macaroni and cheese and PB&Js.

Good thing I was sitting down... – ...for if I was standing up, I would have fallen over in shock. Since it was my first time trying Mojo's I wanted to go with something small and simple. When I received my cheeseburger combo basket, I had to dig through a bit of paper to find the burger. Once I opened the wrapper, I was quite disappointed to find a flattened bun dwarfing an overly charred tiny meat patty. Contained inside was a little squirt of ketchup, mustard and single runt of a pickle slice. Be prepared--no tomatoes, le... read more

Good food but pricey – This is the best fast hamburger place in the South Bay, but expect to pay for it. Onion rings are $3 for a small pack. For one person, don't expect to leave w/out spending $9 or more.

not what i expected – i didn't not like this place...the reviews sound great but its not what it seems...the food is not fresh and tastes like they been in the freezer for a while the fries are too salty and dont taste well cooked and teh prices are little above other places.

A perfect hamburger, with an Island touch – A friend recommended this restaurant to me, and on hearing the name I thought, "Another burger joint? Why?" After trying it, I won't be going anywhere else. I've tried both the Teriyaki Chicken sandwich and the Mojo #2 (double with cheese) a couple of times. They were delicious and really brought back that childhood burger feeling. All they need to add to the menu is Loco Moco. Hopefully the owners will be able to open more shops so I can get a Mojo Burger where ever I am.

The best in town! – I have to admit I love a good burger. A friend told me to stop by Mojo. What can I say but WOW. Finally a place with a dam good char-broiled burger. Great people and they actually care how your day is going, not like robots! Fries are awesome and fresh. Nice theme and very clean. I will be back... Thanks for a great experience!!

I Agree - Best Burger in the Bay Area! – The Mojo #1. combo is a burger out out of my childhood memory combined with fresh-cut fries cooked just right. I also love the Slo-jo chicken burger, its on a crunchy roll instad of the usual burger bun. My kids like the little TV why I enjoy the surf & skate flicks on the big tvs. You get to watch your burger get cooked from scratch, staff is friendly and most importantly, the bathroom is clean! Can't recommend enough, check it out-
