Mojitos

About this business

Mojitos Restaurant opened its doors to raving reviews in June of 2001 at the Dolphin Mall in Miami, Florida. A traditional Cuban drink, the Mojito, was a favorite of Ernest Hemingway and now the specialty drink of the house. In keeping with this tradition, the restaurant decor is that of a colonial-style home featuring Cuban tile floors, stained glass windows, hand stenciled chair rails and a mosaic fountain found in the Terraza area of the dining room. The kitchen staff prides itself with preparing and serving the most auth... read more

Definitely Miami's Best Cuban Restaurant!!!!!! – At first we were skeptical due to past reviews...BUT from the moment we stepped into this energetic Cuban Cantina last Saturday night, we knew we made a great choice. The food was excellent....You must try the Vaca Frita and the Tostones Rellenos - definitely the best in town! And the varieties of Mojitos are unbeatable...the Mango Mojito is my favorite-superb...Overall, the service was good, friendly and courteous considering how busy the night was and the environment was war... read more

Horrible Management and staff.... – The food is just OK and the place is nice. The manager lacked any professional skills whatsoever...Don't ever go at night during entertainment. You'd think we were going to see a Las Vegas show. When ordering, everyone was forced to order a plate, no sharing allowed, even if a sharing charge was paid. This was the first time the manager approached us. Over an hour passed and we did not receive our drinks nor our appetizer. As a previous reviewer mentioned, we had to chase the waiter down f... read more

Worst Service, horrible and rude manager – I wish to have great reviews, but unfortunatly we were treated horribly, the manager was beyond rude, forced us to each order a plate and then rushed us to leave the table, a fight brojke out because of the rude manager, overall the service was horrible, the food took forever, and when we did receive the food it was cold! horrible expereicne!

HORRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! – Our waiter was rude, barely checked on us, and we had to literally chase him down to order! After our meal, we ordered a round of espressos, dessert, Mojitos and closed out the tab so that we wouldn?t have to chase him down anymore and to then fully enjoy the dining experience?.Haha, we?re we in for a surprise! Even though we had just started our drinks, we were then approached by our waiter stating ?The Manager would like to know if we will be leaving soon.? In shock and thinking I... read more

Hearty Cuban cuisine, live Latin music and rum-spiked drinks make for a party atmosphere in sizzlin' Miami. – In Short This lively Cuban cantina is as adventurous as the lime-and-rum drink it's named for. The dining area reflects a colonial Havana, featuring bright tile floors, stained glass windows, hand-stenciled chair rails and a mosaic fountain. The food, spiked with sweet-and-smoky spices, ranges from palomilla steak and shrimp Creole to the classic Cuban sandwich. Stick to the creamy flan for dessert--it does the class... read more

Poor Service and Horrible Management – If I could mark this restaurant with less than a 1 I would. Terrible service and terrible management. The drinks are great but the service was terrible. I recommended this place as a happy hour and received had such a terrible experience. The waiter even tried adding more drinks on our bill that we didn't order. The manager was inexperienced and extremely unprofessional. There are much better places than this restaurant. Please do not go - you will have a terrible experience.

WORST SERVICE IN MIAMI!!!! – This past weekend, my experience was HORRIBLE. A waiter dropped a tray full of glass on my friend and didnt even ask if she was ok. The manager was there too and he didnt say anything after he saw that she DID get cut and WAS bleeding. After I ate my seafood dinner, my face broke out. I have never been allergic to any kind of seafood. When I went to talk to the manager he was rude and cocky. He said that he needed "7 complains in order to determine that he is selling bad seafood". I do NOT recomm... read more

best cuban food in miami – My husband and I rate this to be the best cuban restaurant in all miami. The waiters are excellent very pleasant every time we go, and the food has a fresh wonderful taste and they bring it out fast, theres no need for appitizers,lol.. not to mention they serve alot of food and bring bread as a starter. There salads are also very fresh, nice green lettuce not like at most cuban restaurants where you dont really want to eat it cuz it looks yellow and old. So far everything we've tried is delicious. ... read more
