Just got a bushwhacker to-go at the Moes on Airport. Took them quite a while to bring it to me outside after they asked me to pull up and wait on it (no big deal, sometimes things can take a minute to prepare). Got it and the outside had liquid on it (they couldn’t even wipe it off), and it was barely filled up. Now, I understand that a small bushwacker is filled about 3/4 of the cup, but this wasn’t even halfway filled. I won’t be going back!
Decided to participate in the take out day to try and help local businesses so we picked Moe’s. Called the order in an hour ahead and still didn’t have it ready. People walked in and ordered and got their food before we got our food. Front end employees were jerks and indifferent. Should have taken my money elsewhere. Lesson learned.
RecommendedFood is the bomb! I recommend the turkey sandwich. Top 3 sandwiches I have ever eaten!
First visit was yesterday during Joe Cain Parade. Man is this place popular!
Have friends from all over the US come in town for Mardi Gras. This is our go to place to meet up, eat great food/drink,and catch all the parades. The bbq chicken is my favorite,with friendly staff,and the food comes out quickly,for it to be so busy during parade nights. — with Candy Coleman Wolney.
