RUN ... RUN ... AWAY from this guy and his staff. Doug Larson and his CFO stole over $80,000 from us. I am a disabled veteran and wanted to build a container home and retire and run a small animal rescue. Our plans were derailed because of his calculated theft.Ā
Owes the state of WI over $60K for just state tax withholding, imagine what is owed to the IRS!Ā
Stay away from this scum bag scam artist, Doug Larson!!! Run a credit report on Doug Larson before hiring him and you will see the truth!! He does not pay the people he hires and treats his customers like dirt!!! If you are a subcontractor, and already working for him, I suggest you get all your lien paperwork filed ASAP.Ā
I was awarded $324,000 by a judge because Doug Larson and MODS international took payment, but never built/finished the house. He has not paid a dime because it was a civil case. He claimed bankruptcy and hid all his assets. Look it up on CCAP! He has pages and pages of lawsuits against him and his company. Before I get any payment, which I am not counting on, assets would have to be found to cover all his tax debts and bank debts first. Did a great deal of work for them back in October 2022 and never received a dime in payment. Have been fighting to receive any sort of payment ever since. Will never do business with them again. Horribly dishonest!! Contractors beware!!Ā
