I love this hospital, both of my children were born at this hospital, I’m pregnant with what will be my 3rd live birth and up till today planned on having him here, but now I’m not so sure. My OB is on surgical rotation here and we absolutely love her so we plan to stay for that reason only, but please beware of the labor and delivery triage. Dr Jacob R Russell is a horrible doctor that refuses to listen to his patients in particular black patients. With a Blood Pressure that is 173/128 when I told him I was in pain and the drugs He wanted to give me I couldn’t take he told me I could leave. When I protested he called the police to have me removed. He didn’t care about the care of black people and doesn’t care what your BP is dangerously high.
