Trevor is an exceptional barber and easily one of the best I’ve ever worked with. His knowledge of different cuts, styles, and hair types is truly impressive. I’ve had all the barbers at one point or another and I’ve never left with a bad haircut. I really like the vibe inside and everyone is always friendly and in a good mood. Modern Rebel sells R+Co which can be hard to find sometimes. They also stock a few other brands like Paul Mitchell and Layrite Pomades. 5 stars for sure!
I had a troubling experience at my previous barbershop which left me traumatized and a bit scarred, like a woman who has eaten bad clams and now struggles at the sight and smell of them. Got a trim by Greg who was really professional and chill. I was just visiting from out of town. As a hairstylist from the Bay Area it was important to find a shop with some talent to have a level of trust while getting a cut on vacation and this place didn't disappoint.
