I hate leaving bad reviews, but this was really disappointing. The nail tech was distracted by her phone during my pedicure, and the whole service felt careless, lazy, and rushed. It actually felt long, which was frustrating because she didn’t really do much, and what she did do looked sloppy in the end. When I got home and looked at my toes more closely, the polish was messy and uneven. I was also frustrated because both the menu and the tech said the pedicure was $40, but I was charged $45. I just moved to the area and I’ve been on the hunt for a new nail salon! I tried a different salon a few weeks ago and left with a terrible experience. Today I ventured back out after more research, but left 2 other salons before finally reaching Modern Nails. The gentleman upfront, I assume the manager/owner(?), was able to take me as a walk in immediately. I was out within 40 minutes, he was very skilled and knowledgeable! Came in at 2pm on a Friday and got seated right away. Got my acrylics filled in and needed to add 1 nail that popped off. Great quality, efficient and friendly staff! It’s been almost a month and they’re holding up well! I plan to go back in the next few days for a fill.
