Purchased a brand new / old stock Omega watch. It was promised to be scratch and any physical damage free, by Igor (the seller). Once I opened the box, I was able to see that the watch is not new, but rather beat-up somewhat, with scratches on the bezel, indentations and a chipped off metal on the lug (see images). Contacted the store right away. I offered to send in the pictures of the damages, however, Igor refused to see them and bluntly commanded me to send it back. I recently purchased a Rolex Yacht Master from Modern Jewels and Watches. I worked with Gary, who was very honest and up front during the “interview” and did not oversell the watch and its condition. As a former salesperson and being in an industry with high public contact I really appreciated this. In fact when the watch arrived, it was in better condition than I expected.
