Metallurgical Services Modern Industries survived the recent downturn in fairly good shape and is building business back up to prior levels. Modern offers the following services: * Heat treating * Contract Machining (turbochargers, housings, oil industry fittings, and a wide variety of other objects) * Material and environmental testing - supports the HT and machining work, as well as the oil and natural gas industries. * Products Division - industrial shock absorbers, machining plates, and the mPower and SpinLoc brands.

Former Employee As a former employee of the company, I would first like to stress the management's level of care for its employees, when I left, which is as follows: -As long as no one gets hurt, no one cares about the employees. -As long as the paperwork looks good, and no one is "caught" doing wrong, no one cares about the employees. Now tack on to that the fact that I worked 3rd shift, and there was no maintenance personnel onboard for that shift. concerned citizen Very surprised that a company's review would show up unsolicited (and unchecked) upon a simple Google Maps search. Regarding Modern Industries, Inc. of Erie PA, I've dealt with them for over 20 years, including employment there.
