Mode Moderne Mode Moderne is a fabulous modern antiques shop. They specialize in 50s and other more modern antiques pieces. There is also a book selection in the basement. The prices are substantial, but there are some really unique pieces.

Mode Moderne is IT Mode Moderne is very hip, if people still use that word. Michael (both of them) know their stuff and buy and sell highly desirable name designers and pieces from the 30's - 60's. Donald Deskey, Russell Wright, Eames, it's all there. The store is big and full of great finds, the display window is always good, there are small objects and prints as well as furniture. This shop is a must for the new or older collector. Check out their website too.
