There is no Place like this " Mock Crest Tavern" even in Texas. I sure miss my Monday nights with you all and the Mad Poker group. I miss my friend;, Martha and all the group at the round table. You all showed me such good friendship like I never have had in my whole 78 years.
Always have a great time at Mock Crest. Cozy neighborhood bar. The burgers are awesome.
great food and fair drinks. The problem is that it seems to loud which causes a failure to communicate! The bartender became argumentive because she couldn't hear me. That spoiled the fun. Also out of control late night crowds keeping the neighbors awake! Consistent calls after midnight rather then calling the police. They seem to have trouble with properly maintaining they're authority after 10:00 p.m. which is the city ordnance. Never disappoints with the crowd, service and quality of food/drinks...so glad to have this cozy spot nearby.
I am hard pressed to find a better burger in NoPo! Service is FABULOUS, atmosphere is enjoyable ... HIGHLY recommend 😃👍
