I had an excellent experience renting a wheel chair van. The van was very nice. It had an electric ramp and was quite large.
I first called MobilityWorks after I googled “adaptive driving” because my dad needed an adaptive driving solution and I didn’t know how to start. Someone from MobilityWorks called me back and kindly explained that the first step would be an adaptive driving assessment, lessons on hand controls with a driving school, an adaptive driving licensing test, and then they’d be glad to work with us on equipment installation.
