What a joke!! Our boat wouldn't start, left the key and had a technician from Mobile Marine come out. Finally got a call back from them stating we needed a whole new motor OR a new 3 bolt starter due to the current one being "installed incorrectly". The technician never attempted to start the boat .. quoted us $1500 + labor for a new starter. We had them work on our boat. Just needed a tune up...and then they said it need a gasket and that would be an additional 200-400. They had the boat for almost a month...then today tell us it was over $2300. They did unauthorized repairs. Definitely would not use them again or recommend.
RecommendedSam came to my boat on Degray lake today. One of my engines would not start plus needed othe things done on my boat. He was very courteous, fast ,and good. He diagnosted the problem ,didnt have the part but showed back up in abut an hour and got me running. Also tuned up my Westerbeke Generator. He is coming back to run new L E D rope lights . Did a great job and met me on a Sunday so I could pick it up.
Called Mobile Marina in April to have our boat and wave runners De winterized. Asked that the job be completed the last week of May. Had to call several times to find out when they were coming to do the job. Told different days and then waited in vain for them to show up several different days. They finally showed up the second week in June. Boat was delivered and detailed but the cover was not put on. Great service!! Had a time crunch on some repairs while I was out of town, these guys handled everything for me over the phone and did the work off site at my storage facility, and got it done very quickly. Thanks!!!!!!
