My Ford Explorer was having a problem after warming up with a hesitation when I would begin to accelerate after a stop. The engine would turn up about 300 rpms before the transmission would engage causing a hard engagement of the whole drive train, but shift normally after the initial engagement until the next time I stopped. A few years ago I had my first dealings with Moak's Transmission. The transmission in my car had gone out. I took it to Moak's and within 2 days...they had my car up and running. The price was very reasonable as compared to other transmission repair shops. They call you when they start and keep you informed as to what the progress is.
