I should’ve listened to the reviews before signing a lease with this absolutely useless property management company. My unit had a disgusting, year-round bug infestation with roaches, centipedes, and more. We begged for real pest control multiple times, and every single time they refused to do anything. All they did was hand us bug spray and leave us to deal with it. Maintenance would say they’d talk to the property manager, but we wouldn’t hear back for days, if ever. You will never be alone in your apartment. Plenty of roach friends to hang out with. It's great! You can bond with them too since they refuse to send exterminators to take care of anything. High rent for a taped together building infested with pests shouldn't be the norm.
Seven days before my move-in date, I got a call saying that the current tenant would be staying through the next month and asking if we could move in at the end of that next month. It turns out they double booked our lease and when we asked for some type of help or compensation to find a new apartment or someplace to live, they told us that they wouldn’t do anything to help us or offer any type of compensation. Essentially, they operate illegally and are not a business that attempts to solve their issues amicably at all.
WASTE OF TIME. I had an appointment with Christine Magnotta and she didn’t have the keys to the apartment that I requested to see. I was sent a confirmation message for 1116 washington ave when I had requested a tour of an apartment at 205 Harlem. I would give zero stars if I could. I haven’t even had a chance to view the property in question. I requested information on fees and possible pest issues and Christine Magnotta skipped over the question multiple times via email. I called the office and immediately received an attitude from the boorish, uncouth “woman” that answered the telephone. I tried to ask the same questions that she REFUSED to answered and told me to ask them to her equally ill-mannered counterpart. Unbelievable.
