Miyoung’s is the best! I always feel so at home here, and the service is top-notch. If you have thick Korean hair and have been looking for a stylist who 'gets' it, this is the spot! So happy with my results
Had to continue my review under another account: As a licensed professional myself, I find this ethically and morally troubling. Unless there is a legitimate health or safety concern, refusing service solely based on someone’s hair type is discriminatory. I am a registered nurse. I cannot imagine refusing to treat a patient because I am unfamiliar with their ethnicity or background. That would be unacceptable in healthcare, and it should be unacceptable in cosmetology. I moved to the area a few years ago and have been on the hunt for a great hair salon. This was my third visit to Miyoung’s Hair Salon. The first couple of times, I came in for a regular haircut and always left satisfied. This time, I was in full “new year, new me” mode and decided to dye my hair for the first time.
