NEVER AGAIN! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! COCKROACHES TOO! Went there for an anniversary partyâa reservation for seating in the one private room they have was made for 6 pmâwe were not seated until after 7 pm. Chef splashed one guest with oil and burned another with a flying shrimp. Took 15 minutes to get forks for some of the guests. Best Sushi in town! Miyako is awesome! They have the freshest sushi I have ever had. The employees are always very friendly and happy to see you. The sushi chef will usually surprise you with a "new" sushi concocation while you are eating for FREE! You can also request a soup and salad to go with it. The salad comes with a wonderful ginger dressing. They wont charge for the soup or salad if you ordered more than $25 in sushi!
Miyako is the Best Japanese Restaurant in Frederick MD I love this place. The chef's were so commical and amazing to watch. The chefs are very entertaining the entire time and The food was also excellent !!! Quanity wise, was great too, lots of food for your money. Good times are had by all!!! I will be going back... I REALLY enjoyed it.

Great meal and great entertainment. This place is great. Your food is cooked fresh in front of you on a grill table by a Japanese chef. The chef will entertain and joke and story tell all while preparing your meal. Everything is seasoned just right. We have never had a bad meal here. The wait time for a table can be long so please make a reservation if at all possible. Miyako is the best Japanese restaurant in Frederick. The food is very fresh and they make you feel so very relaxed. While the chef is singing and doing tricks he also talks with you and let's you try the food. After he finishes cooking, he tosses a very small piece of shrimp and you have to catch it with your mouth open. I REALLY enjoyed it. Entertainment and Quality Miyako is the best Japanese steak house in the area. The service is friendly and efficient. Although the restaurant always seems full I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be placed at a table. The cooks are entertaining and very friendly. The food is a little pricey, but absolutely worth the cost.
The best Japenese in town!!! This resturant is located on Route 40 ( golden mile) in frederick. It has great atmosphere and cooking right at the table which is great as you can see what you are eating, has a great staff and very efficient at what they do. Recently added a few new items to their menu and my favorite is steak and shrimp PROS: great eatery CONS: sometimes very crowded
