I first visited Mixon's in the '70's when we visited our grandparents in Bradenton. It was almost an annual trip growing up. Today was my first visit in over 30 years. The nostalgia was refreshing. It's changed a lot, but still recognisable. The tour was great, especially seeing, touching (some) and learning about the animals in the rescue reserve.
